The harder you work the luckier you become was told by Carl Karcher's father. Carl was known for a fast food pioneer, growing up in Ohio. He moved to Anaheim California where his uncle Ben Karcher offered him a job. Anaheim was a place that had 70,000 acres of oranges, also lemon and walnut groves. Carl's uncle owned Karchers feed and seed store, since Carl went to work with his uncle he did 76 hours a week of work, selling all types of farmer goods.Margaret came to the picture where Carl had met and seen her new the St Boniface Catholic Church, which later on got married in 1939 and started and family. Armstrong bakery was where Carl started to work because of a $6 higher pay than when he was working with his uncle. Back then having your own business was a working progress. People tend to change their working satisfaction. In "The Founding Fathers Drive-ins became a hit especially having teens to work to guys get attracted to the girls working, plus the pay for them wasn't high too.
